Meet Carrie

Carrie has been interested in the history of old buildings since she was five. Her love of the history of people and places lead her to start Forgotten Minnesota in 2011. She enjoys finding unique pieces of history that are often overlooked or forgotten altogether. Carrie works in public sector communications, has been a regular contributor to "Hennepin History", and wrote an article for MNopedia about one of her favorite places, the Anoka State Hospital. She's probably the person you saw making a U-turn to get a better look at that old building in your town.
